Factor VIII Binding Assay ELISA

Molecular Haematology

Description

An ELISA (enzyme linked immunosorbant assay) is a technique used for measuring the presence of a substance using an immunological reaction. A microtitre plate is coated with an antibody that is specific for the substance to be measured. A chromogenic substrate is then used to detect the amount of bound substance. This chromogen is measured by colour intensity.
